These course will cover such topics as new construction inspection, writing effective reports, lead paint, and radon testing. - Writing Effective Reports - The topics included in this course are phrasing comments, well writen home inspections, terminology and phraseology, reporting on specific defects, identifying certain conditions, and reducing your liability.
- Health Hazards: Lead Paint - Tennessee continuing education that includes lessons on how to indentify lead paint, the hazards of lead paint, risk assessments, surface dust tests, lab tests of paint samples, and portable x-ray fluorescence machines.
- Radon Testing - Reviews types of radon devices, length of time to test, using testing devices properly for reliable results, radon myths and facts, preventing or detecting test interference, and interpreting radon test results.
These are the current requirements for renewing your Mississippi RealtorŪ license. We will always provide the newest information available and will update the requirements as soon as there are changes.
- To renew your Home Inspector License in the state of Tennessee, you are required to complete 32 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
- Acceptable subjects are, but not limited to: insulation and ventilation, business management, applicable state laws and rules, etc.
- Within 5 working days after course completion, the provider shall submit to the commissioner a list of all attendees including license numbers. The attendees shall also be given a certificate of completion.
- Providers shall maintain course records for a minimum of five years.
